Foothills Functional Medicine does not currently file with any commercial insurance companies as well as Medicaid or Medicare.
But don’t fret! There are a few options that can help with the cost of functional medicine!
-
Our 16-week programs can be paid in 4 monthly installments giving you the flexibility to financially plan for your health care.
-
Many of our patients are filing their own claims with their health insurance carrier. We can provide you with a statement (we call them superbills) for services (which includes codes for diagnoses). And if you order labs with us, the company that we order labs from can also provide you with a superbill for your labs so you can file with your insurance carrier.
Although I do not file insurance and am not considered “in-network” with your carrier, you should check with your carrier because I may be considered “out of network” and thus eligible for you to file for “out of network” benefits.
Attention Medicare Enrollees: Please note that Dr. Kimsey’s services are not considered covered services by Medicare and therefore Foothills Functional Medicine is not able to provide a superbill for possible Medicare reimbursement.

You can use HSA/FSA funds for Functional Medicine. It is good to be in control of your own healthcare, as much as possible. Having money in an HSA/FSA provides this type of freedom.
